 Students will receive a Passport to travel the world!

Get your Passport stamped at every booth, then head over to the PTA Tent to enter the raffle for your chance to win a prize, and to vote for your favorite booth!

 

  Students will receive 5 FREE tickets to sample food, try a cultural craft, or buy a toy from around the world!

 

Additional tickets available for purchase at the PTA Tent.

$5 for 5 tickets.

 Wear traditional attire for the Celebration of Diversity Parade!

Frequently Asked Questions

 

 

1. What is the size of each booth?
3 parking spaces

 

2. How is the power provided to each booth? Do we need an extension cord?
Yes, each team will need to bring their own extension cord.

 

We will have 8 heavy-duty power lines coming from our school buildings to the parking lot. From there, each team will need an extension cord back to their booth.

 

Alternatively, portable batteries are a great option for those who own them!

 

3. Can we borrow a tent, table, and chairs from the school?
Our school only has 7 tents total, so we would appreciate each team asking friends/neighbors to borrow a tent. We are currenty in the process of searching for more tents.

 

Each booth will be provided with one table and as many chairs as needed.

4. When can we start setting up? When can we start cleaning up?

Set Up: Teams can start setting up at around 2:45PM once the parking lot is empty.

Break Down: Teams may begin cleaning up at any time, but vehicles will NOT be permitted to enter or exit the parking lot until approximately 7:30PM, after the Celebration of Diversity Parade.

 

5. How many participants will be coming to the event? 

We have over 1,050 students at our school + their families. This is the first time we are doing this event on this scale so we can only guess how many people will be in attendance. 

 

6. For sponsors, where is the logo going to go? 

We will post sponsor logos on our International Night webpage, social media, and newsletter. Teams are welcome to place logos on their booths. 

 

7. Can we get reimbursed for costs of food and giveaways?
As a non-profit supporting our school and students, we rely on the generosity of our community. While reimbursement is available up to $200 for this event, we would be incredibly grateful if you would consider your participation in this event as a contribution. Covering as much of the cost as possible will directly benefit other events we'd love to bring to our school.

 

We offered reimbursements to ensure participation from all countries, particularly those without established parent groups. If you'd like a reimburesment, please keep all receipts. Reimbursements cannot be given without a receipt.
